MLB Stadiums Map: 20 Maps of Minor League and Lost Ballparks

Every MLB home since 1876, 2026's minor league parks, 295 baseball markers, a Japanese fan's 173 grounds, Negro League sites and transit scores.

Updated

Search MapIndex for MLB stadiums and map after map holds the same 30 pins, one per club. The maps worth opening go past them. Ballpark Brothers track 811 parks down to a 1948 wooden ballpark in Deltaville, Virginia; one fan logs the air miles to each of 37 parks and the score of the game he saw there; a Japanese spectator dates his first visit to 173 grounds, and another mapmaker places 1,046 teams in 31 countries. Many of the best pins mark parks that are gone.

  1. Ballparks Map: 811 Parks From the Majors to Wooden Relics

Fuller Field in Clinton, Massachusetts, built in 1878, carries the label “World’s Oldest Baseball Diamond”, and it sits in a layer called “Vintage Ballparks Still Standing” beside Ackley Park of 1939 in Elk City, Oklahoma, and Buckwalter Stadium in Meridian, Mississippi, marked “overgrown”, with a tip to walk to the grandstand from the frontage road. Mike and Gary of Ballpark Brothers sort 811 parks by level, from the majors through Triple-A, independent and collegiate summer leagues, and nearly every pin links to their write-up. “Gone But Not Forgotten” keeps Comiskey Park (1910-1991), Cooper Stadium in Columbus and Buffalo’s War Memorial Stadium, where The Natural was filmed. A last layer collects graves (Honus Wagner, Lou Gehrig, Shoeless Joe Jackson), the plaque on the apartment block that replaced Ebbets Field, and the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum, noted “Gary with Buck O’Neil”.

  2. Former MLB Stadiums Map: Every Home Since 1876

126 parks with the clubs and years each one served, from South End Grounds, home of the Boston Red Stockings, Beaneaters, Doves, Rustlers and Braves from 1876 to 1914, to the parks of today. The one-season homes are the best part: Jailhouse Flats for the Cleveland Broncos in 1902, Wiedenmeyer’s Park for the New York Highlanders in 1904, Aloha Stadium in Honolulu for the Padres in 1997. Hiram Bithorn Stadium in San Juan served the Blue Jays, the Expos and the Marlins. Where nobody knows the exact spot, the note says so: the West New York Field Club Grounds of 1898 have “No Accurate Location Known”. Games abroad get pins too, at the Tokyo Dome and the Sydney Cricket Ground, and Fort Bragg Field marks the Marlins’ game against the Braves on 3 July 2016.

  3. Minor League Baseball Stadiums Map 2026: 667 Teams

Every pin answers four questions: the team, its park, its league and division, and its major league parent. The Rocket City Trash Pandas play at Toyota Field in the Double-A Southern League’s North Division for the Angels; the Albuquerque Isotopes at Rio Grande Credit Union Field for the Rockies. The 667 teams run from the majors down through Triple-A, Double-A, High-A and Single-A to the Rookie complexes in Arizona, Florida and the Dominican Summer League, then out to independent leagues from the Atlantic to the Pecos and Mavericks leagues, and to collegiate summer clubs from Cape Cod to Alaska.

  4. MLB Ballparks Visited: Sixty Years of Games Since 1965

The first entry is 29 August 1965 at Shea Stadium: the Giants won, “McCovey or Cedada hit HR”, and he sat in the upper deck on the third base side. Thirty-two more parks follow, each a memory with names attached. At Yankee Stadium on 10 August 1968 Mantle hit two home runs in one game for the last time. At Three Rivers in 1976 a blind man beside them listened to the game on the radio with his seeing-eye dog. In 1993 George Brett, in his final year, hit one off the facade of Tiger Stadium’s upper deck, and on 29 August 2004 the author saw one of the Expos’ final games at Montreal’s Olympic Stadium. The last pin is Busch Stadium in 2022, reached on a bike ride.

  5. Baseball Travel Map: 295 Markers, Murals and Statues

Rube Foster’s mural on East 47th Street in Chicago is painted on a rolling shutter and can only be seen when the store is closed. This map of 965 places leaves the stadiums for the layers around them: 295 historical markers, 60 murals and hundreds of statues and busts, each with an address and whether it stands indoors or out. The markers include the birthplace of the American League in Milwaukee, the first collegiate baseball game in Pittsfield, a marker for Hank Aaron at the old Fulton County Stadium wall and the Hot Springs Baseball Trail in Arkansas. In Miami’s Dorsey Park Satchel Paige, Biz Mackey and Minnie Minoso are painted side by side, and Muscotah, Kansas, has the World’s Largest Baseball.

  6. Japanese Ballparks Map: 173 Grounds Where a Fan Kept Score

At a junior-high hardball tournament at Meiji Jingu, only four of the six light towers came on, and as the summer dusk turned dark the infield became a scene from a Henri Rousseau painting. The author saw games and kept score at 173 grounds across Japan, and each pin is dated by the first visit, starting with Jingu on 6 March 1991. Some carry long passages from his web column “Set Position”: the walk to Kawasaki Stadium in 1996, 110 days after his last game, with no free bus because there was no keirin race that day. Short notes record the heat at Agui Stadium on 5 August 1994, when Nagoya hit 39.8 °C, and what replaced the lost grounds: Fujiidera Stadium became a primary school, Nissei Stadium a shopping mall.

  7. Braves Ballparks Map: 150 Years of Grounds Since 1871

The Braves franchise is older than the National League, and this map follows it to every ground it has played in, home or away, from 1871 to 2022. That means 133 parks, most of them long gone, and the early ones read like a list of lost clubs: the Fort Wayne Kekiongas at Hamilton Field in 1871, the Keokuk Westerns at Perry Park in 1875, the New Haven Elm Citys, the Middletown Mansfields and the Washington Nationals at the Swampoodle Grounds. The franchise’s own homes run from three versions of South End Grounds in Boston to Milwaukee County Stadium, and the newer parks list the years the Braves visited.

  8. MLB Stadium Checklist: Scores, Air Miles and Razed Parks

Number 9 is the SkyDome on 15 June 1999, Toronto 13, Anaheim 2, “roof closed mid-game!”. A fan numbers every major league park in the order he first saw a game there, 37 so far, with the score, the air miles from home and the years each park was built, opened, closed and razed. The first is Tiger Stadium, “first probably 1969”, razed 2008. Shea Stadium in September 2007 brought a no-hitter through 7 1/3 innings, Dodger Stadium in 2009 a Manny bobblehead and a grand slam, and RFK in 2006 a skybox. Six parks still wait in “Parks yet to visit”, Petco Park and Truist Park among them.

  9. World Baseball Map: 1,046 Teams in 31 Countries

The Dublin Spartans play at the National Baseball Facility, known as “The Field of Dreams”, and the Cork Renegades on a Gaelic games ground in Montenotte. This map gives 1,046 teams their league, stadium and city, in layers from Major League Baseball down to amateur summer clubs, with foreign layers that reach the Cuban National Series (Industriales at Estadio Latinoamericano), the Hokkaido Frontier League, Italy’s Serie B and Puerto Rico’s semi-pro Doble A. The notes track alternate identities too: the Aberdeen IronBirds also play as the Aberdeen Steamed Crabs and the Cencerros Increibles de Aberdeen.

  10. Negro League Ballparks Map: Pittsburgh's Lost Grounds

Four pins, each a short history. Gus Greenlee built Greenlee Field in 1932, “possibly the most ambitious” of the Black-built and Black-owned parks, and it was torn down for a housing project in 1938. Central Amusement Park was built in 1920 by Alexander McDonald “Don” Williams, a Barbadian immigrant and pool hall operator who owned the Pittsburgh Keystones. The first Ammon Field, home of the early Crawfords, saw Josh Gibson’s earliest professional appearances, and the second, built a block away in 1945, is now Josh Gibson Field.

  11. World Series Map: Every Champion Since 1903 at Its Park

Each year’s winner is a team logo set down at its park, with the series score and a link to the Baseball Almanac. The exceptions are the stories: the 1903 Boston Americans sit near the vanished Huntington Avenue Grounds, the Giants at the site of the Polo Grounds, and the 1914 Boston Braves at Fenway Park, because they played their “home” World Series games there. Washington’s 1924 champions are pinned at Griffith Stadium, torn down in 1965, where Howard University Hospital now stands. The 1919 entry adds what happened the following August, when a Chicago player revealed that he and seven teammates had thrown the series.

  12. MLB and Minor League Stadiums Map: A Family's Score Book

Fenway Park’s pin lists nine games from 2008 to 2014, among them a loss in the 2008 Division Series and Game 1 of the 2013 World Series, Red Sox 8, Cardinals 1. Old Yankee Stadium gets five dates in its final season of 2008, Home Run Derby included. A family that follows the Red Sox spreads 233 pins over major league parks, spring training camps, 120 minor league parks and layers for retired stadiums, and writes the date and score wherever it saw a game. The spring training trips of 2009 and 2013 went from camp to camp, one game a day, among them a 16-16 tie between the Twins and the Rays, and a last layer lists the twelve Japanese league parks.

  13. MLB Stadiums by Transit: Walk Scores for Every Ballpark

Globe Life Park in Arlington scores 17 for walking and 0 for transit, with the verdict “Worst stadium for transit riders, pedestrians in Major League Baseball”. Every major league park gets a Walk Score, a Transit Score and a note on how to reach it. The SkyDome leads with 95 and 100, beside the subway, GO Trains and streetcars. Kauffman Stadium is surrounded by parking, Tropicana Field can be reached by bus only, and Dodger Stadium is an 11-minute walk from the nearest bus stop. SunTrust Park, marked with an asterisk before its 2017 opening, has “minimal transit access as of 2016”.

  14. Ballparks and Breweries Map: 118 Parks Paired With Beer

The Ballparks and Brews bloggers pair each ballpark with a local brewery and link the review: Camden Yards with the Pratt Street Ale House, Wrigley Field with Goose Island, Coors Field with Great Divide, the Angels with Anaheim Brewing and its beer that tastes like Sugar Smacks. The 118 pins run from major league parks through spring training camps to Triple-A, collegiate wood-bat and independent clubs, and the notes are short and partisan. Jim is a die-hard Orioles fan, so read their “totally impartial review”. At Citi Field you may watch the plane fly-overs more than the pop flies, and SunTrust Park “moves the Braves OTP. Will it work?”

  15. Minor League Contraction Map: 42 Clubs Marked for Cuts

42 minor league clubs, each marked X, with stadium, league, class and a hub number. The map shows where a proposal to cut minor league baseball would have hit: eight clubs of the Rookie-level Pioneer League, from the Billings Mustangs at Dehler Park to the Missoula Osprey and the Orem Owlz, nine of the Appalachian League from Bluefield to Kingsport, and short-season clubs such as the Staten Island Yankees and the Williamsport Crosscutters at Bowman Field. Four Double-A clubs are on it too: Erie, Binghamton, Chattanooga and Jackson.

  16. Dominican Baseball Academies Map: Every MLB Club's Camp

The Dodgers’ Campo Las Palmas, built in 1987, was the first academy of its kind for a major league team, and its renovation cost almost US$8 million in 2017. One pin per club, with notes in Spanish on what each academy cost and who cut the ribbon. President Leonel Fernández threw the ceremonial first pitch at the Mets’ opening in 2008. The Giants’ complex of 2016 has three fields named after Marichal, Virgil and the Alou family, and the Twins and Phillies share one of 85,000 square feet, built for US$18 million.

  17. Ballparks Visited Map: 514 Parks and the Years They Closed

Wahconah Park in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, was “in use 1913-2023”, and Richmond’s Diamond “1985-2026”. One fan has seen games at 514 ballparks and keeps each one’s tenant up to date, so the closed parks carry their years like epitaphs: McCoy Stadium in Pawtucket, Olympic Stadium in Montreal (1977-2004), Holman Stadium in Vero Beach, the Dodgers’ spring home from 1952 to 2008. The list goes deep into summer and college ball, with the New England Collegiate Baseball League, the Appalachian League and the Carolina Disco Turkeys at Couch Ballpark in Winston-Salem, and reaches Tokyo for the Dome and Meiji Jingu.

  18. Topeka Ballparks Map: 36 Diamonds Since Before 1880

When the 1951 flood swamped Owl Park, the Topeka Owls moved to the Highland Park school diamond for a while. This map of 36 ballparks in Shawnee County, Kansas, digs through a single county’s baseball: a fairgrounds diamond from before 1880 whose exact location is unknown, Athletic Park, built in 1886 for Topeka’s first minor league team, and the Free Fair grandstand of 1923, adapted for the minor leagues in 1927. Railroad teams had their own grounds, the Santa Fe Ballpark and the Union Pacific Ballpark, and several old diamonds are now used only for softball.

  19. European Baseball Map: League Ballparks and Livestreams

The Třebíč Nuclears play in the Czech Extraliga and keep a live camera on their field, as do the Dornbirn Indians in Austria and Brno’s Hroši. This map of 83 European clubs, sorted into ten national leagues from the German Bundesliga to Britain’s National Baseball League, links the livestream for 46 of them. Some fields are named after American heroes: the Mannheim Tornados play at Roberto-Clemente Field, the Barons Wrocław at the Stan Musiał Arena.

  20. Asian Baseball Stadiums Map: Seats From Taiwan to Korea

Taoyuan International Baseball Stadium seats 20,000, Koshien 47,541, and the Yakult farm team’s ground at Toda 100. Written in Chinese, this map gives 92 stadiums an address and a seat count, Taiwan’s parks first: Luodong’s 5,000 seats in Yilan, Hualien’s 5,500, Douliu’s 15,000. Then come Japan’s league and farm grounds, such as the Carp’s practice field at Yu, and Korea’s parks from Sajik in Busan to Jamsil in Seoul, before a run of major league parks, some under Chinese names.
