Sasquatch Sightings Map Canada: 2,085 Reports Since 1784
On 23 May 1988, at 12:50 a.m., two couples at the Crandell Lake campground in Waterton Lakes National Park heard snorting, ran for their cars and switched on the headlights. The animal in the beams was “not only on its hind legs; it was striding like a human”, and one of them wrote it down for the park warden’s office the next day. The investigator Thomas Steenburg called it the most detailed account he had probed in twenty years. Each of the 2,085 entries is headed by its date and place, from “1784 - Lake of the Woods” through a prospector named Harry Morin following a game trail near Cold Lake in April 1935 to a brown, eight-foot figure seen by at least ten people on the road into the Pelican Narrows reserve in 2012. The entries reach from the Yukon to Nova Scotia.
